QQC #2
Quote: " He rolled the word through his mind. War. They will not want to hear that in Philadelphia. But I will make sure they do." Adams 291
Question: Other than war, did the colonists really have any other means of achieving their demands?
Comment: The colonists wanted to change many things that England wanted to stay firm upon. After all every human has their rights that they receive upon being born. The colonists wanted to be seen as a one operating territory, but the English saw them as something else. To the English the colonies were a child-like country, being taught the same things but being treated as much less. When an authority does this knowingly to the country, is when the people must do something to show that they are much more than children. They must show what they can amount to. But the colonists tried and tried again to convince the English that they wanted to be equals, but the parents will not listen to these children. And like all children, the colonies began to want something more and more. In this case, the thing they wanted was to be equals and to be recognized as something more. When the English did not show any sign of change, the colonists prepared. The colonists were forced to prepare. To prepare for war.

From this web article I learned many things about Benjamin Franklin that I hadn't known before. Benjamin Franklin was clearly a genius of his time and used his intelligence to end struggle in many locations. In the American Revolution he acquired an alliance with France, in addition to having influence in London. Franklin not only helped the colonists, he helped people that suffered all over the world.

Research Question
Rise To Rebellion by Jeff Shaara
The plot of the story comes from many different perspectives. The story comes from both the point of view the colonists and from the English. It is getting ever closer to the point of war, but many are still trying to stay away from it.
The American Revolution occurred during the 1770's and was located on the east side of the United States.
Why did the English abuse all the areas they colonize?
